Product development of a modular prize wheel
In 2024, we collaborated with Naiv Studios to create a prize wheel for Munich's Department of Mobility. The challenge: designing a three-meter-diameter wheel that could fit into a passenger car while being easy to assemble and disassemble. We chose aluminum as the main material for its lightweight properties and precision. The entire construction was laser-cut for accuracy, with special attention given to the ball bearing system to ensure a smooth, seamless spin. To enhance its appeal as a street attraction, we fine-tuned the design to produce a satisfying sound with every turn.
